This month, I’ve been doing a lot of talking about communications and marketing communications.

Whether it’s in the Facebook group, on Instagram, to my friends, my family and business friends, too.

Specifically, however, how to improve it, how to do more of it, how to write more about it, and so on.

The thing is, I realised that I wasn’t communicating to the best of my ability and often getting caught up with client projects. Hands up, it happens!

So now it’s time to get it done, stop talking about it and COMMUNICATE more about the day-to-day activities that are often a big part of my day.

Since staring the business five years ago, Chorus Comms has matured a changed from its first few early weeks and months. The activities I now do vary so much from day one, back in 2014.

No longer is it just PR, but all aspects of communications as well as virtual assistant (VA) activities.

The core of our work centres around:

  • PR and media relations
  • Creative social media
  • Competitions and promotions
  • Video
  • Courses and training
  • Copywriting
  • Creative
  • Influencer activity
  • Award writing
  • Website development
  • Events
  • Launches
  • Blogs
  • E-comms
  • Lead and landing page development

I love the variety of the activities I do with my fellow team memers and this month it’s been a delight to have helped Bridal Hair by Jennie with an awards document, CoachingbyBethan get into a women’s glossy (November), an international PEO company launch their fundraising activities and film Nutritional Ninjas at work for a franchise launch.

We’ve got lots of stuff coming too – a new website for a construction firm, a number of social media projects on the go, more videos, more press and a podcast too.

I’ll be doing more training in the Facebook group and YouTube as well.

At the end of the day, if you aren’t communicating to your audience then how on earth do they know what it is you do (or what you can do for them)?

If you’ve got stories to tell, tell them.

If you’ve done something that will inspire others, tell us all about it.

Learned something new or an expert in your field, explain how.

Enrich our social media feed.

Don’t brag too much.

Have fun with your communications…or ask us to help.
